Frances Conroy, Sam Bottoms and Rebecca Pidgeon have joined the cast of Touchstone Pictures and Hyde Park Entertainment's Shopgirl, an adaptation of Steve Martin's novella for helmer Anand Tucker.
The film stars Martin, Claire Danes, Jason Schwartzman and Bridgette Wilson-Sampras in the story of a romance between a young girl who works a Saks Fifth Avenue glove counter in L.A. while nurturing dreams of being an artist and a wealthy benefactor who is still learning about the consequences that come with any new romantic relationship.
The love story is currently shooting in LA.
