The Cosby Show alumnus Malcolm-Jamal Warner has been tapped to co-star opposite Jason Alexander in an untitled comedy pilot at CBS.
The project, based on the real life of Washington Post sportswriter Tony Kornheiser, centers on Tony (Alexander), a newspaper columnist, TV sports co-anchor and father of two.
Warner will play Tony's co-anchor on the TV show. Meanwhile, newcomer Daniella Monet has been cast as Tony's daughter.
